关于我们

InSure ONE is the only Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) performed using toilet bowl water collected from a single bowel movement in the privacy of your own home. InSure ONE uses a water-based sample to detect blood in the stool. InSure ONE eliminates the need for patients to handle fecal matter during collection, creating a more user-friendly experience. Lower GI bleeding may be an indication of colorectal disorders, which may include colitis, colorectal cancer, and diverticulitis. A positive test should be followed up with a colonoscopy.?

A 2022 study identified common CRC screening barriers among hospitalized women. ? ? The study identified the most common barriers as 1.????I have other problems more important than getting a colonoscopy 2.????No transportation to get to the test 3.????Not counseled by primary care provider ? The study also mentions 66% of the non-adherent women would agree to have an inpatient screening colonoscopy if offered. ? Main points of the study: 1.????A significant number of hospitalized women are non-adherent to colorectal cancer screening guidelines 2.????Offering inpatient colorectal cancer screening to non-adherent patients may lower the burden of cancer screening disparities among women, especially those who are at high risk. 3.????Lack of transportation and not being counseled by primary care are among the major barriers to screening. A majority (66%) of non-adherent women are amenable to inpatient screening colonoscopy if offered during a hospital stay. ? Source: Graham H, Kauffman R, Khaliq W. Colorectal Cancer Screening Prevalence, Perceived Barriers, and Preference for Screening Colonoscopy Among Hospitalized Women. A recent study explored the cost of noninvasive screening modalities for colorectal cancer and found the rate of early stage (stage 0 to II) disease was found to be similar between those screened with FIT and muli-target stool DNA test (59.5% FIT vs 63.2% multi-target stool DNA test; p=0.77). ? The research findings suggest that implementing FIT as the primary noninvasive colorectal cancer (CRC) screening method could yield substantial cost savings and hold significant value implications for extensive population health systems. ? 1.????Allen CJ, Bloom N, Rothka M, et al.
