After careful deliberation, the ‘Young Researchers Association' (YRA) will be renamed to the ‘Early Career Researchers Association’ (ECRA). This decision was not made lightly. We understand that over the years, the ‘YRA’ has established itself as a well-known and recognized name across the laboratory and beyond. However, we believe that the name ‘ECRA’ better reflects our dedication to inclusivity within INL. This change, subtle but meaningful, mirrors our commitment to embracing diversity and fostering a sense of belonging among all early career researchers, including those who do not identify as “young.” ECRA will continue to serve its mission to provide professional development and networking opportunities for early career researchers at the laboratory. It will continue to be organized and led?by?early career researchers?for?early career researchers. It will continue to improve and adapt to the evolving needs and aspirations of our members and INL.
