EWRI supports the Illinois Section of ASCE as well as the local collegiate chapters through scholarships. EWRI holds monthly business meetings the second Tuesday of every month which we encourage anyone interested in learning more to attend!

Over the weekend, members of the EWRI board had the honor of presenting special awards at the Future Cities competition. This national event challenges middle school students to design innovative cities using simulation software, build scale models, write essays, and present their city concepts. The board was truly inspired by the students' creativity and commitment to sustainability. The future of sustainable design is bright! Congratulations to all the winning teams!

Thank you to everyone who attended our HEC-HMS Modeling Workshop. Attendees learned invaluable hydrologic modeling skills in HEC-HMS dam break analyses, infiltration, channel routing and common modeling errors. All who attended will be better prepared for their next watershed modeling project. A special thank you to Luke Sherry and Michael Burke who led the course!
