The International Conference on Military Communication and Information Systems (ICMCIS) is Europe's largest scientific conference on military CIS. Since 2001, it has provided a forum for exchanging ideas and knowledge on the development and implementation of advanced ICTs for military systems. As of 2023, the ICMCIS is held under the umbrella of the NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO) and organized by the NATO STO Information Systems Technology (IST) Panel.

Cyber security and information assurance The ICMCIS 2025 will be organized by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency), with support from the Portuguese Ministry of National Defence, and will be held in conjunction with the spring 2025 business meeting of the NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO) Information and Systems Technology (IST) Panel.
