i-TAG Goes Global: Strengthening Collaborations in Thailand! ?? The i-TAG project continues its mission to enhance statistical literacy in tourism on an international scale! Recently, Prof. Stefano De Cantis and Prof. Enzo Scannella from the University of Palermo traveled to Thailand to present UNIPA’s educational programs and establish new scientific and academic collaborations. As part of this visit, the first results of the i-TAG project were shared with representatives from Rangsit University (RSU) and Prince of Songkla University (PSU). The discussions focused on the importance of quantitative analysis skills in tourism and the need to bridge the gap in data-driven decision-making for professionals in the industry. We are excited about the growing interest in i-TAG from Thai universities and stakeholders, and we look forward to expanding our network for a more data-driven and sustainable future in tourism! ???? Exploring "The Tourist Gaze" at Memorial and Educational Centers What captures your attention when you visit a memorial or museum? How do these experiences shape your emotions? In a collaboration between the Hebrew University, University of Munich, The Documentation Center in Munich, and the House of the Wannsee Conference in Berlin, we're uncovering the answers through groundbreaking research. Using advanced tracking technologies like eye-tracking glasses and emotional arousal sensors, this project dives into how visitors experience exhibitions at these historical sites on multiple levels: spatial, temporal, emotional, and visual. Key questions we’re exploring: ?? What makes certain exhibits more engaging or emotionally moving? ?? How does an audio guide shape what we see and feel? ?? How does the space itself—its history and atmosphere—affect our journey through it? Learn more about this fascinating project and the questions driving it forward. #CulturalResearch #MemorialSites #MuseumExperience #InnovativeResearch
