earlier this week, hr dive published my story on the current state of dei — 2024 and beyond. ? as many companies scrub dei from their business goals, the dei experts i've interviewed say, "not so fast." and also: "not everyone." ? one expert said that her global clients in particular are compelled to keep going, and tend to have certain key focuses based on their geographic region. ? another also told me that it's okay that the face of dei is changing, as people reassess business needs — as long as the true work of dei gets done.
