Today at ISPOR Europe 2024, we continued to dive deeper into the importance of scientific evidence in understanding and improving the health and well-being of people across the globe, in addition to other key health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) themes and healthcare trends. ISPOR's President, Eberechukwu Onukwugha from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, USA, gave an opening Presidential Address, followed by remarks from this year's Avedis Donabedian Lifetime Achievement Awardee, C. Daniel Mullins from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore, MD, USA. The second plenary session focused on “Ready, Set, Go: The Last Sprint for the EU HTAR," with sessions following that discussed uses of real-world data, EU HTA Regulation and joint clinical assessment, value assessment, artificial intelligence, patient access, digital health, and more.
