GinkgoVest is a non-traded, private multifamily investment platform focused on workforce housing in the Carolinas. Accredited investors seeking a low-risk, tax-advantaged investment opportunity will benefit from monthly income and long-term wealth preservation via capital appreciation.
While the Company has owned and operated multifamily communities for over 35 years through various iterations, the REIT was formed in 2019 as the Company’s primary investment vehicle. Since inception, total returns to investors exceed 78%, which is inclusive of share price appreciation and dividend increase. 100% of our dividend is covered by funds from operations, at approximately 1.25x.
As a vertically integrated firm, we provide asset management, construction management, accounting, acquisitions, legal, and property management to each of our properties. We seek value-add communities located within a 3-hour radius of Charlotte, as we can effectively utilize our in-house resources and understand the markets. North Carolina was recently named the Number 1 State for Business by CNBC and is a top state for population growth and rent appreciation.
