AI Advisor | Author: “AI Leadership Handbook” | Host: “What’s the BUZZ?” | Keynote Speaker | ex-SAP

???????? ???????? ???????? ???? ???? ????????! The attendees of Generative AI Week received a copy of the AI Leadership Handbook this week. What I heard in conversations and in Q&A time and again: - What can I do to educate my leadership team? - How can we bring our business teams along? - How do you measure the ROI of a use case? - What kind of training should we provide? - AI is the responsibility of the IT, Data, Technology, AI team. I was glad to hear that. Because the AI Leadership Handbook provides answers to exactly those questions—from strategy to culture, collaboration, ethics, data privacy, and more. Several attendees came up to me on day #2 and said: "I started reading it last night and it's great to validate how we're running things" and "It touches on everything we need to get right." So, wherever you are on your AI journey... Get your copy of the AI Leadership Handbook via the link under my name. #ArtificialIntelligence #GenerativeAI #IntelligenceBriefing

Earlier this week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend GenAI Week in Atlanta, where the convergence of cutting-edge technology and real-world applications took center stage. From insightful discussions on scaling AI for enterprise use to exploring the practicalities of operationalizing GenAI, the event was a treasure trove of knowledge. Key takeaways: ? The promise of Generative AI is evolving, but thoughtful integration into enterprise workflows remains critical to its success. ? Real-world use cases, especially in industries like retail, marketing, and finance, are beginning to show significant ROI—yet there’s still a long journey ahead. ? Conversations around AI value realization are becoming more frequent, but the key lies in driving measurable impact rather than chasing trends. ? Personal fan moment - Having a great discussion with Cassie Kozyrkov on adopting an UI/UX mindset for GenAI (and moving away from a pure-play statistical thinking) ? Catching up with leaders in my network and making new ones, including, Priyanka Singhal, Sairam Ramakrishnan, Cherian Varghese, James Lin, Sky Kelley, Andreas Welsch and more Last but not least, a huge thanks to IQPC R&D, Generative AI Series for giving me an opportunity to be a part of a panel and as a speaker, and the whole crew (Sam, Nicola, Mhairi, Sean) who put up a fantastic show! #GenAI #AI #Innovation #EnterpriseAI #ROI

Shaping the legal landscape of emerging technologies, intellectual property, data, and media laws ??

Looking for a lively debate on #copyright and #AI? Bring together two people that have been at the center of it all! I played the neutral middle party and moderated to keep it things civil ?? Kidding!! ?? Amir Ghavi and Scott Sholder knocked it out of the park during our panel this week as part of the 2nd Annual Generative AI Week in Atlanta. We joined back together for a second year in a row to discuss the state of law and AI. ?? spoiler alert ?? we still don’t have all the answers ?? But… we did drop some practical knowledge and takeaways for attendees. Our first half was spent diving into the current state of litigation that seems to be dropping EVERYWHERE in the AI world. Here’s the breakdown of what’s keeping us all busy: ?? 32 lawsuits: copyright infringement, DMCA violation, and/or breach of license contract ?? Privacy: such as a lawsuit against Lovo for use of voice-over actor voices and others involving the collection of personal data (PII, PHI, biometric data, etc.) ?? A lawsuit against scraping YouTube videos ?? Board and shareholder litigation (Elon Musk, OpenAI, etc.) ?? Antitrust and monopoly investigations (Google and MSFT) ?? FTC actions against data misuse and warnings against AI-washing, false claims, fake reviews, and more ?? Challenging U.S. Copyright Office refusals to register generative works… Our second half was a sprint through key understandings when it comes to “open” AI resources and the numerous legal pitfalls that surround the use of them. Thanks so much to all of the organizers at Generative AI Series !! Y’all are the best! #GenerativeAI #ArtificialIntelligence #MachineLearning #GenAIWeek

Strategic Insights & Analytics Leader | Transforming Data into Human Stories that Drive Innovation and Business Growth | Passionate about People

Had a great time at #GenAIWeek! Some of my key takeaways: ?? Data cleanliness continues to be a critical enabler to all AI/ML & deep learning implementations, GenAI solutions aren't immune. ?? Being ethical with data privacy, data security, appropriate attribution, and fair artist compensation will be important to building trust and mitigating risk. As with all tech, policy and regulation are far behind current capabilities. ?? Defining and measuring model performance accuracy is complicated. Infusing any model with context and subject matter expertise are (& will continue to be) crucial to relevance and impact. Purposeful human-in-the-loop evaluation can meaningfully move it in the right direction, but getting this to scale can sometimes land you in Proof Of Concept purgatory. ?? The future of GenAI is exciting and I'm eager to continue being a student in this space.

Chief Digital, AI, Operations & Transformation Executive | Ex - Deloitte | Top 5 Global Innovative Leaders of the Year (Fast Company 2022).

I just got back exhilarated after attending the #GenAIweek conference in Atlanta! It was great to hear from so many amazing speakers. Topics covered ranged from infrastructure and operational considerations?and?use cases in specific industries to responsible AI and legal implications. Here are some of my key takeaways: 1. It’s going to be all about automated agents in the future and how RAG and LLM capabilities can be leveraged to automate actions. 2. Enterprises will shift from monolithic models to compound AI systems that leverage multi-step agents 3.? Don’t assume that, by default, any data in your internal systems is owned by your organization. There could be potential implications if it’s used to create AI models. 4.? RAG-based models that leverage GenAI capabilities are as good as the quality of the input data (which is obvious for folks who have been in the AI space, but the lines are getting blurred between perception and reality in the GenAI space because of all the hype). 5.? Key highlights from my presentation on a framework for enterprises to leverage all aspects of GenAI, as well as a panel discussion on maximizing the impact of GenAI across organizations. a.??????Organizations that are creative in identifying the right use cases will excel in the AI-powered world. b.??????“AI won’t replace humans, but humans who use AI will replace humans who don’t use AI.” This quote from HBR illustrates how, in the foreseeable future, most AI solutions will help improve human productivity and not necessarily replace humans. Enterprises need to train employees in role-specific training to leverage AI capabilities effectively in their roles. Special thanks to Mhairi Macbride and the IQPC team for organizing this amazing conference.? #genai #generativeAI #AI #innovation #RAG #tech #AIWeek2024 #responsibleAI
