We have implemented and embedded advanced inspection technologies such as the GEnx Blade Inspection Tool (BIT) and the GEnx rigidize-able guide tube (RGT) in our gas path inspection courses. ? GE Aerospace’s CFM56 Training ? The CFM56 training programs at CTEC Cincinnati, and AEMTC (An official CFM training center in Guanghan, China) offer PLBM (Powerplant line & Base Maintenance), Borescope, Boroblend, and Removal and Installation classes. The lessons combine traditional in classroom instruction, and practical hands-on experience. The instructional portion gives students a thorough understanding of engine construction, Aircraft/Engine interfaces, and engine systems. With practical experience students learn correct tool/manual usage, proper component removal/installation steps, and unique inspection/maintenance techniques. While receiving a full range of knowledge and experience, maintenance fundamentals such as asset care, tool accountability, and task safety are also reinforced leaving students with a better understanding of how to become more efficient in their troubleshooting and repair of the CFM56 engine. ? https://lnkd.in/gvtQfe5k
