MISSION The Payment Solutions Committee’s mission is to provide strategic direction for business travel payment. The committee provides leadership to members and the global business travel community through education, strategic direction and universal standards, as it relates to travel payment. OBJECTIVE To improve the understanding and professional relationships between corporate travel managers, procurement & financial professionals, business travelers and industry merchants. To engage in projects that will assist GBTA members in developing, implementing, and marketing travel payment solutions. To act as a resource for GBTA members seeking information on business travel payment; publish committee standard documents and research materials covering various payment solutions. To provide strategic direction to streamline communication, acceptance and other process efficiencies.

A card where the employee must make payments directly to the issuer for all transactions they make on the account and are typically required to submit an expense report to receive reimbursement from their employer. (AKA INDIVIDUALLY BILLED).

Our committee members continue to spread the word. The GBTA | Rocky Mountain had a great session in the Denver Metro “connecting the dots” on hotel virtual payments. Carmen Stinson ? presented a similar session to the one that was at capacity during convention last year. And Megin Dressel, CTE, CCTE, GTP , who leads the local chapter and also sits in the GBTA | Accommodations Committee shared her experience as a buyer using virtual payments. We continue our mission to educate and improve the travel industry… one payment at a time.
