We were honored to host the Gates Foundation's Black Philanthropic Partnership Employee Resource Group's reception in our galleries in honor of #BlackHistoryMonth. The event convened local Black employee resource group members from Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Alaska Airlines, and many more organization in Seattle to form connections, celebrate culture, share stories, and enjoy the talents of local poet and creative Ebo Barton, and local musician Lee Anderson! This year, we celebrated Black culture through food, music, and meaningful conversations inspired by this year’s Black History Month theme: “African Americans and Labor.” Together, we reflected on the enduring legacy of Black resilience, innovation, and entrepreneurship—and how these stories align with our shared commitment to opportunity for all. ??: Jordan Nicholson
