Get excited, it is time for round two of the FLiP events, this time we are heading to Liverpool, to create connections, build our network and gain insightful and innovative information to make things better for ourselves as leaders, but also for the whole of female leaders in Procurement. Our venue could not be more perfect.? We are based at the The Women's Organisation. Since 1996, they have been training, supporting and inspiring women. Across communities, business and government policy, they represent women’s interests and are committed to creating a more equal world, completely aligning with the mission statement for FLiP! The theme of this event is the Future for Female Leaders in Procurement, especially in this turbulent climate.? The full agenda will be published next week but this is what you need to know about our amazing event: ?? Like our first event, having fun in a relaxed atmosphere to build connections is what we are all about.? Prepare yourself for some fun (and silly!) networking games ?? Representation matters, we will be having a conversation with two Chief Procurement Officers to see what their challenges have been in their career, and looking at opportunities for the future ?? Professor Jo Meehan will be inspiring us with her talk on gender, sustainability and markets - creating a future which represents us, rather than excludes ?? The fabulous Laura Sellers MCIPS, a procurement executive leadership coach will be focusing on how coaching can help future-proof your career ?? Dr Steve Kelly will be discussing his research into gender-responsive procurement, giving us suggestions on how procurement can help further women in the supply chain ?? Scott Dance, the UK & Ireland Director of Procurement & Supply Chain for Hays Recruitment will be doing a Q&A on themes he’s noticed in his 22 years in recruitment impacting gender, and trends for the future ?? Libby Vincent, described by her clients as the CEO Special Adviser will be pondering the concept of authenticity and whether that’s the newest tool to beat women with ?? You’ll also be hearing from our FLiP programme attendees, as to how their training has impacted their views on female leadership - no more leaning in and adapting ourselves to fit in! Danielle Patchett MCIPS Courtney Creighton Adrienne Bishop Suzanne Adams MCIPS ??Don’t think I have forgotten the important bit, you’ll be fed and watered with both breakfast and lunch included, plus we have a networking reception after the event if you want to mingle and have a few drinks ??Last but not least, just like our last event we will have some goodie bags for you to take away with an eclectic mix of items - staying a surprise until the day ?? The event runs from 10am until 4pm, tickets are limited with only 55 spaces available.? Claim your space and book now here https://lnkd.in/ebiKD27Y I hope to see you there! Cheers Laura P.S. Did I mention there is cake?
