In this role, you will be supporting Region 2 with the execution of the Incident Action Planning Cycle, organizing and delivering briefings, ensuring coordination with State stakeholders to expedite response activities and recovery assistance, and engaging with personnel from across all levels of government during the development of intelligence to inform decisions at active and open disasters. Typical assignments include: ·???????Completing incident-specific planning activities for active and open disasters including preparing the Incident Action Plan, supporting incident operational assignment development, tracking of resources, and accountability of programmatic tasks. ·???????Supporting the formation and maintenance of the core and collaborative planning teams, providing specialized project management assistance for high profile taskings at active and open disasters. ·???????Supporting processes related to data collection, information analysis, document development, and publication/dissemination of situational awareness products, dashboards, and tools. ·???????Coordinating and supporting the implementation of disaster response services and programs, analyzing resource requirements, and mobilizing capabilities to meet state, local, tribal, and territorial requirements. ·???????Training, coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff assigned during steady state and when deployed. ·???????Deploying in support of an Incident Management Assistance Team or Regional Response Coordination Center as required to coordinate the delivery of planning support as requested by a State at an active and open disaster.
