This role involves building and expanding relationships with key stakeholders in the Canadian sports industry, from leagues and team owners to athletes and sports business leaders. You will also be responsible for securing licenses for Canadian sports logos and products, driving the growth of sports betting initiatives, and overseeing the creation or acquisition of #sports teams and leagues. ??Location: Remote in Canada?(Must be able to travel) ??Salary: $750K to 2.5M+ ??Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow relationships with Canadian sports leagues, team owners, athletes, and sports business leaders. * Negotiate and secure licenses for Canadian sports logos, merchandise, and products. * Oversee and develop sports betting initiatives across Canada, ensuring compliance with local regulations. * Lead efforts to create and acquire ownership of sports teams and leagues within Canada. * Collaborate with Canadian sports brands, sponsors, and key partners to drive business growth and revenue opportunities. * Work with Investors & The Government to get us funding for our Projects. * Develop strategic partnerships with media, streaming platforms, and technology companies to expand the reach of the sports business in Canada. * Oversee contracts, sponsorships, and brand alignment with Canadian sports properties and events. * Work closely with legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and operations. * Stay current with trends, regulations, and innovations in the Canadian sports industry. ??Qualifications: * Degree in Sports, Business, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in the sports industry, including league, team, or sponsorship management. * Former/Current Athlete, Executive or Owner!! * Proven track record of managing relationships with Canadian sports leagues, teams, and athletes. * Strong understanding of sports licensing, sports betting regulations, and the Canadian sports market. * Experience in acquiring or managing sports teams and leagues in Canada is a plus. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. * Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments within Canada.
