Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship Stays in Montgomery! ?? ?? The Sun Belt Conference has announced that the City of Montgomery will continue to host the Sun Belt Baseball Championship from 2026-2030, extending a successful partnership with the Central Alabama Sports Commission and the City of Montgomery. This five-year extension builds on the original agreement that brought the tournament to the Capital City in 2021. This extension cements Montgomery as the longest-tenured host of the championship (2021-2030) and reinforces the city’s reputation as a top destination for major sporting events. Mayor Steven Reed celebrated the news, stating: "This extension reaffirms our city's reputation as a premier destination for championship events, bringing economic impact, tourism, and excitement to our community.
