??♀? Our colleague and health economist Lieke Maas together with her team are working on finalising the first #EconomicModel on detecting liver lesions using AI. ?? By performing cost-effectiveness analysis, we aim to demonstrate the affordability and patient benefits with our AI tool. Not only can this provide valuable information for patients, but it can offer deeper insights into the effect of an AI tool for clinicians and decision-makers as well.? Kaisar Kushibar from the University of Barcelona participated in the 14th ERION EARMA Thematic Group event: Artificial Intelligence and Ethics, the Big Wave, where he gave an insightful presentation on "FUTURE-AI - International consensus guideline for trustworthy and deployable artificial intelligence in healthcare" and took part in a panel discussion on ethical and trustworthy AI ? FUTURE-AI is an initiative led by #EuCanImage coordinator Karim Lekadir. It's goal is to define and maintain concrete guidelines that facilitate the design, development, validation and deployment of trustworthy AI solutions in medicine and healthcare.
