#Kosily #RedditMarketing #StartupGrowth #FakeReviews Hey everyone! ?? I wanted to chat about something that’s been on my mind lately regarding an agency called Kosily. ?? So, it looks like Kosily has been creating **fake posts** across various Reddit subs, all following a suspiciously similar theme. You know the type: “Here’s how we grew our SaaS startup to $X MMR,” with a list of tips that conveniently includes working with *Kosily*. ?? Here are a few red flags I noticed: - **Fake Feedback**: An agency that has to resort to fabricating customer experiences clearly isn't doing well. If they had happy clients, they wouldn't need to create **fake posts** to generate buzz. - **Spammy Marketing**: Generally, spamming your startup on Reddit is a rookie move. It’s not the best way to create genuine connections. If you go that route, make sure you're partnering with someone who can honestly represent your brand. - **Trust Issues**: Every time you come across a phony post, it erodes trus... #VentureCapital #StartupStruggles #EmbarrassingMoments Hey everyone, So, I had a dreadful interview with a VC yesterday, and it felt like a huge opportunity just slipped right through my fingers. ?? Honestly, I've been feeling like absolute garbage since then. I can’t help but think, "What went wrong?" and "Did I totally blow it?" I know I'm not alone in this, right? It seems like interviews can either go swimmingly or spiral into disaster. It got me thinking: Why do these awkward moments happen? Nerves: We’re all human, and the pressure can be insane. The fear of judgment can lead to a major brain freeze. Miscommunication: Sometimes words just get tangled up or don’t come out right, making us sound less confident. Overthinking: We try to say the perfect thing but end up saying the wrong thing. How do these experiences impact us? Doubt: A bad interview can shake our confidence, making us question our worth and abilities in the startup world. Fear o... What’s Your Most Embarrassing VC Interview Story? Share Now! #AIStartups #AgenticAI #SoftwareEngineering #OpenAI Hey everyone! ?? So, there's been a lot of buzz lately about OpenAI making some serious waves in the agentic AI space, especially around coding. With the recent benchmarks pointing towards their push into agentic coding and their announcement of a generic-purpose agent set to launch in January 2025, things are heating up! ?? This agent will presumably be able to tackle some essential software engineering tasks, which raises an interesting question: Are OpenAI's moves a potential threat to agentic AI startups like Bolt, Vo, and Devin? What do you think? ?? Here are a few thoughts on why this is such a critical discussion: Increased Competition: With OpenAI ramping up their capabilities, smaller startups may struggle to keep pace, especially when it comes to resources and expertise. ?? User Expectations: As OpenAI delivers more powerful tools, users might expect the same from smaller companies, creating pressure that could be tough fo... #Travel #DigitalNomad #Entrepreneurship #Networking #ClientRelations Hey everyone! ?? So, I've been on a journey lately, both literally and figuratively, with my mobile development agency. #StartupStruggles #WorkspaceGoals #OfficeDesign Hey everyone! ?? I’m in the thick of it with my small startup, which has 7 awesome team members. We’re all pretty much packed into this tiny space. While I’ve managed to score some deals through my connections, I’ve noticed that when new clients come to visit, they tend to judge us based on our office setup. I even lost a deal recently, and I can’t help but think my workspace might have played a part in that. ?? Here’s the deal: I really want to transform our office into a comfy, cool spot that not only looks great but also boosts our branding. I’m looking to refresh the space without breaking the bank, so I’m planning to take on the repainting myself. ?? Space Efficiency: I’m specifically looking for desks that can fit two people to help save costs. Any recommendations? I’m ... Could Your Cramped Office Be Costing You Valuable Deals? #WebsiteConversions #LandingPageMistakes #MarketingTips Hey everyone! ?? After running my business for the last five years, I’ve learned that a killer landing page is one of the most important marketing assets for any business, especially newbies starting out. It’s where potential customers first interact with what you have to offer, so it really makes a difference! I'm curious to hear your thoughts: What are some of the top mistakes you've noticed that can hurt website conversions? ?? Here are a few that I think are pretty common, in no particular order: Keep it Simple! ?? Make sure your landing page is straightforward. If visitors can’t quickly find what they want to buy or understand your offer, they’re likely to click away. Easy Contact Options ?? Don’t make it hard for customers to reach you. Having tools like Intercom for live chat can be a game-changer! At the very least, have a “Contact Us” page with clear phone and email options. Assume Positive Intent ?? Avoid the mentality ... #MVP #UserFeedback #StartupJourney #ProductDevelopment Hey everyone! ?? So, I’ve been working on this side project—a tool aimed at helping job seekers. I launched it with just a “buy me a coffee” link, encouraging donations only if users found value. To my surprise, I’ve experienced some real traction lately! Yesterday: 20 users and $5 from a generous supporter. Today: 100+ users and $45 donated from three users. Wow! ?? Honestly, I’m blown away. The fact that people see value in what I created is just incredible! I’m using the funds to cover costs like my domain and hosting, but I’ve been deployed on a temporary domain so far. After chatting with several users, I've gathered some great feedback about features they’d like to see and general usability improvements. I even developed a new feature that might be suitable for a paid tier down the line. Coincidentally, I had a chat with a mentor/angel investor today who mentioned that if I can ramp up to 1,000 users or generate $1,000... How Can I Scale My MVP for Job Seekers to 1,000 Users Fast? I launched an AI mobile app a few weeks back, and right now, I have 90+ active users and 13 subscribers. Since I haven't done any paid advertising yet, I feel like there’s a lot more I could be doing, but I’m a little undecided on what my next steps should be. Here are some thoughts on the challenges I’m facing: User Engagement: While I have active users, am I doing enough to keep them engaged? If users aren’t sticking around, it could be a warning sign. ?? Conversion Rates: With only 13 subscribers out of 90+ active users, I can't help but feel there’s room for improvement. What barriers are keeping users from converting into paying subscribers? ?? Market Awareness: Without any paid promotions, how can I get the word out? It’s...
