It is with profound sadness that C.R. England, Inc. announces the passing of Gene England, Chairman Emeritus, after a remarkable life spanning more than 105 years. Gene was a pioneer in the trucking industry and a beloved figure within the C.R. England family. Details regarding Gene’s memorial service will be shared in the near future. In the meantime, the best way to honor his memory is to pay it forward by thanking a truck driver for their service to our country and communities. Gene England’s passing is a great loss to the C.R. We recently hit a milestone of 12 million meals donated to children in need! At the start of 2018, England Logistics united with C.R. England launched the One Initiative with the goal of feeding one million hungry children each year. Each load delivered and transaction completed results in a meal donated. We have partnered with 23 food banks throughout North America that help turn these contributions into meals and distribute them to children in need. With the support of our clients and team members, we have far surpassed our goals year after year.
