?? Proud Moments at the Green Transportation Summit and Expo! Michael Laughlin, representing the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities and Communities Partnership, honored several workplaces for their outstanding efforts in promoting EV adoption through The EMPOWER Project. This nationwide initiative, supported by over 30 Clean Cities and Communities coalitions, offers FREE educational resources, coaching, and national recognition to help workplaces install EV chargers and support their employees’ shift to clean transportation. ?? During a recognition ceremony at GTSE, these organizations were spotlighted for their remarkable commitments: City Of Cape Canaveral, FL: Installed six dual-plug Level 2 charging stations at city buildings, parks, and facilities to serve employees and the public. Riner Rentals, VA: Transitioned their entire fleet to EVs and installed charging ports for both fleet and employee vehicles, setting a high bar for sustainability. NIPSCO, IN: Demonstrated their commitment to a cleaner future by offering extensive workplace charging facilities at multiple locations. Potawatomi Ventures, WI: Implemented a robust workplace charging policy with multiple charging ports and provided discounted or free charging for employees and tribal elders. ??
