There is absolutely NO ONE like Dr. Peggy Chabrian. Dr. Chabrian is the founder of Women in Aviation International. She grew the organization from its first conference attended by 150 people in 1990 to an organization representing more than 15,000 women in all aspects of aviation today. She has spent 30+ years in aviation education, holding leadership roles at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Georgia State University. She’s an international speaker and author and serves on several aviation-related boards. Now, her legacy is forever enshrined in the National Aviation Hall of Fame. Congrats!
Congratulations to the National Aviation Hall of Fame class of 2024 enshrinees! I'm especially thrilled for my longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Peggy Chabrian, founder of Women in Aviation International. Her incredible contributions to the industry are truly inspiring. It was also a pleasure to celebrate with our friends at Garmin as we honored their founders, Gary Burrell and Dr. Min Kao. Their vision and dedication changed the industry for the better, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is proud to partner with such a fantastic company.
