FREE HELP & ADVICE! Navigating the New Beneficial Ownership Information Filing Requirements for Small Businesses Free for Anyone! Attention startup and small business owners! The U.S. government now requires many small companies— including those with 10 or fewer employees—to report Beneficial Ownership Information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. This includes detailed information on anyone who owns or controls at least 25% of your company. Whether you're a newly-formed startup or an existing business, the filing deadline is fast approaching—you must submit your Beneficial Ownership Information by January 1, 2025, or face fines of up to $500. On December 4, noon-1:30 pm, Bounce will host a free in-person event to help you understand exactly what information needs to be reported, who qualifies as a beneficial owner, and how to comply with these new regulations. Join us any time between noon and 1:30 in the first-floor Generator space for an office hours session where Project Medtech’s experienced accountants will walk you through the filing process for Beneficial Ownership Information and answer any questions you may have. In The News | The equivalent to taking nearly 1 million cars off the road. The OECD estimates that greenhouse gas emissions from plastics will more than double between 2019 and 2060. Akron's Sustainable Polymers Tech Hub aims to slow the trajectory of those emissions from oil-based plastics, resulting in an overall reduction of 3.9M tons of carbon emissions per year. The hub was made possible by the CHIPS and Science Act, which poured billions of dollars across the country to spur tech manufacturing and innovation.
