Hi guys! I’m Dr. Cassi from VetFolio. I am a 2014 graduate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!). I live in Florida now, but I am originally from the Midwest just outside of Chicago (Go Cubs Go!). I am a small animal general practitioner practicing near Gainesville Florida. When I’m at work, my favorite cases to manage involve geriatric medicine, specifically arthritis management in older dogs. I’m a large breed dog person myself, so it brings me a lot of joy to be able to put some spring back in an old dog’s step. When I’m not at work, I spend most of my time with my husband Josh and our two beautiful girls. I don’t find myself with a lot of downtime, but when I do, I have recently started dabbling in gardening, I enjoy the occasional run, and like to relax at then end of the day with a cold beer and binge-worthy Netflix show!
