Assistant Secretary James D. Rodriguez emphasized the importance of networking at the Student Veterans of America National Conference last week. “Networking is a full-time job,” Rodriguez said. “Continuation of conversations – when you don’t need something from someone – that’s the most important thing you can do … People that are part of this community – those are the connections that you have to massage continuously, but the most important time is when you don’t need something. Making that friendship, that relationship, just like you do in the military … you should be checking in.” Learn more about how the military-to-civilian transition continues to evolve in this The American Legion article: https://lnkd.in/e3XBx_Q9
