If you have an Intermittent or reduced Leave FAMLI claim, we have great news for you! Workers with approved intermittent and reduced schedule FAMLI claims can now update their weekly work schedules directly in their My FAMLI+ account, rather than calling in or emailing the FAMLI Division updates to their work schedule each week. Is my job protected while I am on leave? Approved FAMLI leave offers job protection once an employee has been at that particular employer for more than 180 days (about six months). That means you’re entitled to return to the same position, or an equivalent position, when your leave ends. You can still take FAMLI leave before you meet that 180 day threshold, but your employer is not required to keep your job for you when your leave is over.

Many State of Colorado offices will be closed today, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Originally known as Armistice Day, this holiday was first celebrated Nov. 11, 1918 to commemorate the end of World War I. It was officially recognized in 1954 by President Eisenhower as a holiday to honor all American veterans. Thank you to those who have served and continue to serve our country.
