Honoring a proud tradition! The Marine Security Guard Detachment in Kuwait celebrated the 249th Marine Corps Birthday with Moto-Run around the embassy compound. A Moto-Run is one of the last physical exercises a Marine completes before leaving basic training and is a celebration of their transformation from recruit to Marine. #DSS

Did you know that DSS facilitates security at major international gatherings, like the #APEC Economic Leaders' Week in Lima, Peru? Security planning for APEC began in April when DSS met with Peru's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Police (PNP). DSS has since provided dignitary protection and tactical training to PNP partners and hosted a PNP delegation visit to Washington, D.C. to observe DSS' security operations during the #NATO Summit. #DSS We're looking forward to a safe and productive APEC Economic Leaders' Week!
