?????? Firefighters and police officers from around New Hampshire laced up their skates last weekend for a great cause. More than 4,800 spectators showed up to support our annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship and raised over $270,000 to support critical healthcare services for our patients and their families. "They do the work caring for kids day in, day out. Caring for, protecting them, and to then come and play in an event for this to make money and fundraise the way they have, it's just so humbling," said Dr. Keith Loud, Dartmouth Health Children's physician-in-chief, told WMUR-TV. A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, The Elliot Perry Foundation, and our Impact and Fundraising sponsor, Service Credit Union. And a big thank you to our team sponsors, MSA - The Safety Company and Metro Walls. Congratulations to Team Fire on their victory! ?? https://lnkd.in/ePSu4Wh4 Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics & Dartmouth Health

"I am honoring this caregiver because...he is always wonderfully kind and patient with my kids and always makes our visits a positive experience -- not an easy thing to do when you're a little one dealing with an illness or getting a vaccine! My kids love seeing Dr. Sam, and I know they are in such good hands with his care. Thank you Dr. Sam!" Stories like this remind us just how much a caregiver’s kindness and dedication mean to patients and their families. There’s still time to recognize a caregiver who made a difference in you and your child's life. Join us in celebrating their compassion and commitment! https://lnkd.in/eyk63w3D Dartmouth Health and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics

Help us provide kids with critical services, such as support when they are in pediatric intensive care and managing chronic illnesses, by joining us for the 17th annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship! The annual game, featuring police officers, detectives, marshals, state troopers, sheriffs, department of corrections officers, firefighters, dispatch workers, EMTs, and more, will take place at Manchester’s SNHU Arena on Sunday, March 16 at 1pm. Fundraising is underway for Team Police and Team Fire, and with only a few practices left at the UNH Whittemore Arena, this year’s match-up on the ice promises to be an exciting one. The event is presented by the Elliot Perry Foundation and benefits Dartmouth Health Children’s and the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). We are thrilled to welcome Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility as a member of our health system! We look forward to continuing our efforts to support youth and children with the psychiatric and residential care they need.
Today we welcome Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility as a member of our health system! As New Hampshire’s largest employer and provider of mental and behavioral health services, we will continue to strive to give youth and children the psychiatric and residential treatment services they need, while supporting those who care for them. "As a member of Dartmouth Health, Hampstead will benefit from the resources and expertise of our entire health system, including Dartmouth Health Children's, and strengthen our critical role in New Hampshire to foster and support mental health for the children and adolescents in our community,” said Joanne M. Conroy, MD, CEO and president of Dartmouth Health. Dartmouth Health and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) have officially closed on a public-private partnership, making Dartmouth Health solely responsible for the clinical leadership, patient care and operation of Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility. “This public-private model led by Dartmouth Health creates certainty for Hampstead’s dedicated staff and the patients and families they serve,” said DHHS Commissioner Lori Weaver.
