These incredible women led a fascinating and informative discussion about their innovative educational community, highlighting the personal experiences, guiding principles, and systemic inequities that inform their work. Our DWShe Co-Chairs, Tiphanie Hill and Edith Sanchez, did an amazing job facilitating this collaboration and bringing this exciting event to Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Today, we celebrate International Women's Day and honor the incredible achievements and contributions of women at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and around the world. We are proud to recognize the talent, strength, and dedication of women everywhere.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Pre-Law students from the University of Washington to tour our Seattle office, where the First Generation Law students also had the opportunity to meet with members of our First Generation Professionals Affinity Group over lunch. A big thanks to Sunny Knight, chair of the First Generation Professionals Affinity Group, along with ambassadors Sarah Duran and Breck Wilmot for organizing this program. And to our DWTers who attended: Sunny Knight, Sarah Duran, Caesar Kalinowski IV, Rayshaun D. Williams, Claudia Lin, Greg Raburn, Alysa Mo, Bryan Taylor, and Lauren Calogero.?

Grateful to have had the opportunity to host a veterans’ happy hour as co-chair of the Veterans Affinity Group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. It was an incredible evening connecting with fellow veteran attorneys from companies like T-Mobile, Cloudflare, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft. Despite many of us meeting for the first time, there was an instant camaraderie—proof that the shared experience of military service runs deep. A huge thank you to DWT and Jessica Zutz Hilbert for supporting this event and to everyone who showed up to make it such a great night.
