How do you stand out in your career, #jobsearch, or in a saturated market where everyone is moving too fast to notice you? ?????? Be present. Be genuine. Be kind. Be generous. Be humble. Be compassionate. Be deliberate. Be intentional. Be focused. Not much to it, right? ?? Why did I use “be” vs “act” or another action verb - some may wonder ???? ?? Keep in mind: ‘Acting’ the part is temporary - it doesn’t last and it’s easily detectable.?? ‘Be’coming this kind of person/leader, or building this kind of culture is a process that never ends. You will become (be) the person who stands out when you practice the ‘art of becoming’ the best version of yourself - EVERY. Single. Day. ??? Demonstrating or offering kindness, generosity, humility, etc. is transferable anywhere you go AND it’s just not as common to find such a person/company. THIS is why you will be more likely to “stand out”. ???? ?? Another way to stand out (eventually w/o trying) - Learn who you are. Focus on your strengths. Then go out of your way to share your God-given gifts with those around you. ?????? The more you know yourself and learn to focus on your strengths, the more confident and secure of yourself you will *become*/be. ??
