CREAR (College Readiness, Achievement and Retention) Futuros is a peer-mentor program that recruits qualified Latinx students in participating educational institutions to mentor, guide, and support younger students, or mentees. CREAR Futuros aims to empower Latinx college students with the skills, resources, and community support needed to encourage college degree attainment. Powered by Hispanic Federation, the program includes engagement with HF staff including special professional development and career readiness training, relationship building with CREAR mentors/mentees, support from administrative/campus support staff, and guidance from corporate and member organizations. CREAR Futuros is focused specifically on actions that support college access, retention, and graduation rates for Latinx students in our nationwide campuses. While the program focuses on Latinx students, activities are open to all eligible students regardless of race or national origin

Earlier this week, our CREAR students had an incredible opportunity to join T-Mobile 's Eleva (Latino Employee Resource Group) for an event focused on personal branding and the power of building their own unique image for their college and career journeys. Our students left feeling inspired, equipped with valuable skills to craft their personal narratives, and more confident as they navigate their academic paths. On behalf of the HF CREAR Futuros team, we want to give a big thank you to T-Mobile for their unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation of Latino leaders. We are so proud of our CREAR Futuros Mentors!!
At Macy’s, Inc. we encourage our colleagues to celebrate their identity and shared heritage 365 days a year. ?? In celebration of #HispanicHeritageMonth and as part of Mission Every One, we’re excited to announce that Macy’s next nonprofit partner is the Hispanic Federation. From September 15 – October 15, 100% of donations will support Hispanic Federation’s work focused on college mentorship and digital upskilling. Macy’s has raised $2.4 million for Hispanic Federation since 2022 to help support 7,000 students through the CREAR Futuros youth leadership program.

For many, this marked their first visit into the world of opera, and the experience was breathtaking.?
