Johnson County Commissioner Larry Woolley discussed his county’s criminal probe into the spread of toxic chemicals due to the land application of biosolids fertilizer during the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension District 8 Conference in Stephenville today. “We have an obligation to public health and public safety,” Woolley told the crowd of 45 County Judges and County Commissioners gathered in Erath County. The District Conference offered Commissioners 7.5 hours of continuing education credit; several Judges were also in attendance.
