That's why we are so passionate about letting people know about Concrete Sawing & Drilling Safety Week (CSDSW) 2024. While every day on a job site truly is safety day, we plan on taking it a step further the week of January 29 - February 2 on job sites across the country by educating workers on best practices when sawing or drilling concrete. During this week, our safety experts at GPRS will travel the country visiting job sites to offer complimentary presentations about the top risks to your workers and the ways these risks can be mitigated. We’ll discuss the dangers of silica exposure, the hazards to avoid when sawing, cutting, or drilling concrete, and the importance of having a personal safety plan. To date, we’ve educated over 20,000 construction professionals through CSDSW. In 2023 alone, over 150 companies proved their dedication to the safety of their workers by hosting CSDSW talks at their offices or job sites. Aaaaaaaand just like that, Concrete Sawing & Drilling Safety Week is coming to an end today. Our friends over at RHC Construction & Management were nice enough to have GPRS out on their site in San Francisco this afternoon. We had a fantastic discussion about having a personal safety plan and the hazards around cutting and drilling in concrete. They even had multiple people share stories of times in their careers where they had personal safety experiences around the cutting of concrete on previous sites. It was a pleasure to spend lunch with such a great group of people.
