This week, we take time to reflect on the impact of hunger and homelessness and the importance of addressing these most basic needs in our community. At Community Care Campus, we ensure that our clients receive three meals a day which provides more than just food, it helps them build connections with each other, provides a send of comfort, and promotes healing. Shared meals provide: ??? Nourishment for the body ?? A sense of belonging ?? Support for mental health and morale ?? A safe space to rest and recover Want to make a difference? Consider hosting a meal service or donating supplies to brighten the holidays for those at our Recuperative Care sites. Together, we can make the season warmer for everyone. ?? At Community Care Campus, we believe that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, especially those experiencing homelessness who often face significant barriers to receiving the care they need. That's why we’re proud to partner with Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC), a nonprofit dedicated to delivering holistic, compassionate, and accessible care through their programs such as Street Medicine. ?? ?? WPCC’s incredible Street Medicine team meets individuals where they are—whether on the streets, in shelters, or other non-traditional settings—providing on-the-ground healthcare that builds trust and saves lives. From preventing hospitalizations to connecting people with our wraparound services, WPCC ensures that no one in our community is left behind. Together, we’re working to create a healthier, more compassionate future by guiding individuals toward stable health and housing conditions. ???
