This past weekend, I returned from a two-week intensive class on peacebuilding in Colombia. So tremendously grateful for such a rich and wonderfully immersive experience! In our short time there, we visited Bogotá, Cali, and Sincelejo, engaging with a number of panels and presentations on the ongoing journey towards peace in a region marked by conflict. We visited local churches, NGOs, farms, and schools, hearing from a wide range of stakeholders about their tireless work to build and sustain peace in their communities. We encountered so many intensely welcoming, inspiring, and kindhearted people. It was incredibly impactful to hear their stories of simultaneous grief and resilience-- and to witness the hope of those working on the ground to cultivate peace. Much to continue reflecting on for many months to come!
