关于我们
CESA #1 is committed to supporting our districts in building capacity to grow college and career readiness programs across the region. One of the ways we do this is through our ARC Network. The ARC Network focuses on making connections between the many facets of college and career readiness: Academic and Career Planning (ACP), Regional Career Pathways (RCP) and Career and Technical Education (CTE).

The Milwaukee Esports Alliance Summit was a huge success today with hundreds of students from area high schools and universities coming together to learn about the business and essential skills learned through eSports. . If this is something you and your school would like to learn more about, connect with the alliance through our Inspire program for Regional Career Pathways.

It was a great day at CESA 1 with all of our CTE teachers! We explored canva tools, CTE standards, regional career pathways, UDL, and Industry Recognized Credentials. We loved to see all of the great networking taking place… learning and growing together! It was the best way to close out national CTE month! ?? A special thanks to all of our presenters. Without you this wouldn’t be possible!… Deanna Nelson Stephanie O'Connor Heidi Speese Jennifer Jackson Tim Fandek Christina Patrin

Shout out to Milwaukee Public Schools and Erin Cherney for their delivery of the M3 Work Readiness Conference at Alverno College today. . Over 300 students heard from guest speakers across topics like professionalism on social media to interviews and resume building. Students also engaged in 1:1 small group work with a variety of industry professionals.

Happy Career and Technical Education month! We had the privilege of kicking off the month by joining Dr. Underly for a tour of the CTE programs at Tremper High School. From child development and culinary labs to automotive and engineering, we were so impressed by the engagement of each student. Way to go KUSD! #CTEMonth #CTE

Inspire Wisconsin has provided over 2,000 students in the M7 region with unique Career Based Learning Experiences this year with events like this with the Milwaukee Esports Alliance. . Drop us a message if your business would like to get involved!
Thanks to the Inspire Platform, supported by CESA 1, I’ve gotten to talk esports with several WI HS’s, with more to come in the future. The goal of the program is to connect businesses with students to share insight and information about career pathways, how cool! S/o to the engaged Arrowhead High School students today - the time was appreciated. Also, I officially feel ancient, ha. ??
