Fundraising is more than just asking for money—it’s about building relationships, aligning values, and sustaining impact. Last night, Fuqua’s Office of Student Life (OSL) and CASE at Duke hosted a Fuqua on Board workshop on Nonprofit Fundraising, led by CASE alum Loree Lipstein, founder of Thread Strategies. Loree is celebrating 10 years since graduating from Fuqua—and 10 years since founding Thread—a firm dedicated to helping small and mid-sized nonprofits build sustainable fundraising capacity. She brought her deep expertise and insight to the session, helping students explore the strategy and storytelling behind successful fundraising efforts. Special thanks to Eric Lindsay in OSL for his thoughtful collaboration and leadership in making this event a success! We’re grateful to Loree for sharing her journey—and proud to celebrate all she’s built over the past decade. #TeamFuqua #SocialImpact #Fundraising #NonprofitLeadership #CASEatDuke #FuquaOnBoard #ThreadStrategies

Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy?CASE at Duke = an impactful partnership! Last night’s Crown Distinguished Lecture, Food for Thought, Choice, and Dignity, featuring Maggie Kane, founder of A Place at the Table, was a resounding success. Maggie’s candid reflections on the emotional rollercoaster of founding and growing a social enterprise left the room inspired. She reminded us that dignity, choice, and community belong at the heart of impact work — and her journey is a testament to leading with both determination and compassion. It was an honor for CASE to partner on this event with Sanford and we’re excited about what’s to come from this growing collaboration. ?? Check out a few moments from the evening below! #SocialImpact #Leadership #FoundersJourney #DignityAndChoice #CASEatDuke #SanfordSchool #EntrepreneurshipForGood David J Wilkerson

?? Turning Ideas into Impact: CASE Alum Arya Diwase’s Entrepreneurial Journey At Fuqua, Arya Diwase (MPP/MBA ’24) set out to make a difference by combining her passion for social impact with the power of entrepreneurship.
