It’s so disheartening to have gone through so many stages, eagerly anticipating a positive outcome, only to face rejection. ?? So, about 150 of us were on a Zoom call, and someone from another team brought up that they’re getting a ton of questions related to my work, which is creating a bit of chaos for them. ?? Their director chimed in, saying it was unfair and that I need to “find new ways of working.” Ouch! The kicker? This was all sparked by one email chain where I was copied in, and I had already redirected this person to the right contact three times! ?? The director knew about the whole paper and funding request before it went to the board, so it’s not like they were blindsided. ?? It seems like one team member is confused about who to reach out to, but it’s really only generating unnecessary email responses—all of which I tried to clarify. ??
