?? Are LLM-wrapping startups truly defensible? In the rapidly evolving AI landscape, startups leveraging large language models (LLMs) are often dismissed as mere "wrappers" with no long-term advantage. But as Will Poole, Managing Partner at Capria Ventures, highlights in a recent feature in AIM, differentiation comes not just from technology, but from how startups apply AI to domain-specific problems and build proprietary data assets. A great example is 5C Network, a Capria portfolio company, which is revolutionizing medical diagnostics in India with AI-powered radiology workflows, showcasing how domain expertise, workflow optimization, and proprietary data can create a defensible AI-driven business. #Vietnam’s lychee industry is a key driver of local livelihoods and global exports, yet supply chain inefficiencies limit its full potential. TECHCOOP is bridging this gap by enhancing market access, improving logistics, and driving digital transformation to create sustainable growth for farmers and strengthen Vietnam’s position in high-value markets. Read more here from Hao Diep, CEO at TECHCOOP:

TechCoop Expands Its Presence in Vietnam’s Lychee Industry TechCoop is strengthening its role in Vietnam’s agricultural sector by advancing the lychee supply chain in the northern provinces. This marks another step in our mission to elevate Vietnam’s premium fruit exports to global markets. As one of Vietnam’s most prized fruits, lychee plays a notable role in both local livelihoods and international trade. With an annual production of 300,000+ tons, key growing regions B?c Giang and H?i D??ng contribute over 80% of the national output. Known for its sweet, aromatic flavor, thick flesh, and small seed, Vietnamese lychee has gained strong traction in China, the United States, the EU, Japan, Korea, ASEAN, Middle East, etc. meeting GlobalGAP and VietGAP standards. In 2023, Bac Giang lychee sold well on both the domestic and foreign markets, with a total 201,600 tonnes sold, bringing in nearly 200 mil US$ turnover. Nearly 111,200 tonnes of lychee were shipped abroad, accounting for over 55.1% of the total sale volume, while about 90,500 tonnes were consumed domestically, or nearly 44.9%. However, fragmented supply chains and post-harvest inefficiencies continue to limit Vietnam’s full market potential, impacting farmers' earnings and the fruit’s competitiveness in high-value markets. TechCoop’s Commitment to a More Efficient Lychee Supply Chain We are taking strategic steps to unlock new opportunities for Vietnam’s lychee industry by: - Expanding global market access – Connecting cooperatives and SMEs with international buyers for better pricing and demand stability. - Driving digital transformation – Enhancing traceability, logistics, and efficiency through advanced supply management. As global demand for high-quality, exotic fruits rises, the time is right for Vietnamese lychee to expand its presence on the world stage. TechCoop is committed to bridging the gap between producers and international markets, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term value for Vietnam’s agricultural sector. Looking to source premium Vietnamese lychee or explore strategic partnerships? Let’s connect. #VietnameseFruits #Lychee #TechCoop #GlobalTrade #SustainableAgriculture #VietnamExport

The TechCoop Story: Humility, Hustle & Hypergrowth Last September, I spent a few days in Ho Chi Minh City meeting TechCoop’s leadership team and evaluating the investment opportunity. What struck me wasn’t just Hao Diep and her team’s ambitious vision — it was their relentless execution. Also, at a stage where most companies would have plush offices, TechCoop was running a high-revenue operation from two modest houses on the city’s outskirts. Humility and frugality weren’t just values — they were a way of life, fueling the company’s hypergrowth. You don’t see that kind of discipline and drive at this scale every day. Massive respect to Hao Diep and her team for building something extraordinary. And hats off to Vietnam — an economy outpacing India’s GDP growth (from a lower base) and home to an unstoppable wave of world-class startups. The energy, innovation, and resilience here are undeniable. Oh, and yes — we invested in TechCoop. Exciting times ahead!
