???? It's been an incredible week at the 30th anniversary of OEB Global Conference Berlin. ???? ???? Instructure had the absolute privilege of welcoming and sponsoring the fantastic?Professor Martin Bean CBE's talk on 'Three Trends to Steer your Edtech Investments in 2025.' Martin discussed some of the most salient considerations institutions must face, such as building skills attainment into the heart of education delivery. ??? As the first day drew to a close, it was great to attend the 30th-anniversary debate: This House believes the Collection, Storage and Use of Non-Essential Data on Students Should be Heavily Restricted. Both sides gave impassioned arguments about the use of student data. Ultimately, the house came down in favour of Martin's team ?? - which recognised the importance of transparency, autonomy, and informed consent while ensuring educators use data to support their students. Data that provides a glimpse into students' academic and pastoral needs and provokes educators to make early inventions could be the thing that stabilises students' academic journey. ??
