Happy Plastic Free July! ?? At Geared for GREEN, we are excited to join the global movement of Plastic Free July. This initiative is all about avoiding single-use plastics and finding sustainable alternatives to protect our planet. However, we understand that sometimes single-use plastics are necessary. That's where Geared for GREEN steps in. We ensure these plastics are collected, recycled, and reintegrated into a circular economy. We create a variety of products from recycled materials, which can be recycled again at the end of their life. We rely on the ocean to breathe—50% of life-giving oxygen comes from the ocean, and it absorbs 25% of carbon dioxide emissions. 98% of the heat from the sun’s rays is absorbed by the ocean, playing a crucial role in regulating our planet’s climate. The ocean is home to an estimated 2.2 million species, providing immense biodiversity that supports ecosystems worldwide.
