To save you time and spark inspiration for your upcoming campaigns,?C&EN BrandLab?Senior Editor Jordan Nutting has curated a?list of five hot topics?that are set to capture chemists’ attention in 2025. Here's a peek at topics 1-3: ?? New Drug Modalities?- There is much to explore within the topic of degraders, including novel screening methods, establishing design principles, and new types of degraders. Marketers seeking to capitalize on this trend can communicate how their organization’s technologies or capabilities foster advancement in this field. ?? AI is Here to Stay?- After years of hype, it's time for companies to?tell thoughtful stories about how they’re seeing results from using AI. Perhaps you share how you’re curating the high-quality data needed to train chemistry-relevant AI models. You can even have a story about why your?company doesn’t talk about AI. ??? Navigating Regulatory Changes - Policies such as the BIOSECURE Act, the overturned Chevron deference doctrine, and various regulatory changes will significantly impact the chemistry industry. Clever marketers should monitor high-profile court cases that could present opportunities for thought leadership and public relations. Gain real data insights on how to market to scientists! Join Jordan Nutting, PhD, and Jesse Harris, MASc, MSc from C&EN BrandLab, as they reveal survey data about chemists' content preferences and buying behavior. Equip yourself with the knowledge to make informed decisions in 2025! https://lnkd.in/egA257Qb
Marketers, how well do you know your audience? It’s a question I ask myself all the time. As an editor with BrandLab C&EN Media Group, it’s my job to understand chemists and people working in the chemical sciences. I spend a fair amount of time keeping my finger on the pulse of this community through informal, qualitative research: lurking in online communities, reading trade publications, watching webinars, and conducting informal interviews. However, I realized I was missing quantitative data — hard numbers that can challenge my biases and let me hear directly from my broader audience. So, my colleague Jesse Harris, MASc, MSc and I decided to gather that data ourselves. Last fall, we ran a survey to learn more about the preferences and media habits of chemists. After weeks of analysis, discussion, and number-crunching, we’re excited to share what we learned! Join us on February 4 for a webinar where we’ll discuss 7 key takeaways from our survey. Attendees will be among the first to access the full report! ?? Register here: https://lnkd.in/guv4dnRe
