The BVR Mohan Reddy School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (BVR SCIENT) is the first of its kind collaboration among IIT Hyderabad, Cyient Foundation (the CSR arm of Cyient) and Shibodhi Foundation (the family foundation of BVR Mohan Reddy) The School aims to nurture and develop world-class innovation and entrepreneurial talent from India with BVR SCIENT curricula that will include entrepreneurship, design thinking, creativity management, leadership, and lean start-up courses. The School will facilitate new venture creation, venture finance, intellectual property, and negotiation skills. IITH currently offers bachelor’s, master’s degrees and PhD level programmes focused on entrepreneurship aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020. BVR SCIENT will enrich the offerings with executive education courses in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship bootcamps, weekend/online programmes and research on innovation and entrepreneurship. The School will also conduct corporate innovation challenges and launch several community outreach programmes.
