A couple of weeks ago I treated myself to a Button workshop to learn about incorporating content in design systems from Michael Haggerty-Villa. It was great! The session was packed with insights and plenty of hands on opportunities to try out what we were learning in real time. I highly recommend checking out one of these pop up content design events they've been offering. It was the quality I've come to expect from Button. My takeaways: - Leaving content out of your design system can lead to inconsistency and inefficiency for the team, or worse yet an incoherent user experience. - Including content principles, voice and tone guidelines, and reusable components (like button text or error messages) ensures that content scales with design. - A thoughtfully curated content design system will empower your team to create clear, accessible, and user-friendly experiences from the start. - Content should never be an afterthought.
