We are saddened to learn of the passing of Lucille Ryals Thompson, namesake of the recently endowed Lucille Ryals Thompson Professorship here in Brock School of Business. Because of the generous support of the Thompson family, we will be able to carry on her legacy through this endowment named in her honor.
This summer, Brock School of Business students and faculty traveled to Rwanda, where they partnered with Bridge2Rwanda to teach leadership and problem-solving courses to promising leaders in the East African nation. Sloane Womac, a senior Brock Scholar, said, “Traveling to Rwanda was an unforgettable experience that has thoroughly enriched my learning and professional development. This trip allowed me to experience new cultures, step outside of my comfort zone, and build connections worldwide. I am so grateful for the Brock Scholars program and Brock School of Business for providing such an incredible international experience I will cherish forever.” https://lnkd.in/ebNbPt6r

This summer, Professor Art Carden wrote several new articles for The Library of Economics and Liberty's blog, EconLog.
