Love, Laughter, and 80's Glamour Collide in Bay Path's Spring Musical Production! Get your tickets (https://lnkd.in/esHJsQrz) for Bay Path's upcoming spring production of Head Over Heels! Based on “The Arcadia” by Sir Philip Sidney, the laugh-out-loud musical romp set to the hits of The Go-Go’s follows the royal family of Arcadia as they embark on a journey to prevent a mysterious prophecy from dooming their kingdom to extinction. Along the way—through disguises, deception, and radical self-discovery—the characters of Head Over Heels discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their hearts. Infused with the electric energy of the 1980s, the wild heart of a Shakespearean romance, and popular Go-Go’s anthems like “We Got the Beat,” “Vacation,” and “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” this production transforms the mythical kingdom of Arcadia into a glittering, high-camp fever dream! Performances run March 28th through 30th Alumni are eligible for one discounted ticket when using the code MADABOUTYOU (one of the song titles) and are available at https://baypath.ludus.com. Additionally, alumni are invited to join our faculty and staff for a complimentary "Backstage Pass" Pre-Performance Reception on Opening Night starting at 6:00 PM in the Empsall Living Room. Sharing the sad news that Carol (Cochran) Dunlop '62 '97 has passed away, a two-time alumna and 35-year former Bay Path employee. We will pass any memories you share along to her family. As shared so well in her obituary: https://lnkd.in/ecMVgC6U. "Carol attended Springfield Technical High School and Bay Path Junior College, where she received an associate degree. Upon graduation, she began her 35-year career at Bay Path, working first as a recruiter and advisor in the admissions department. As Bay Path planned for the future, Carol pioneered their Saturday program for adult women and developed and directed their cutting-edge Continuing Education Program. Realizing that she should set an example for adult women, Carol enrolled in the bachelor program, receiving her psychology degree at age 50 with a 4.0 GPA. Upon receipt of her degree, she was promoted to be Bay Path College’s first Director of Continuing Education. Carol’s passion was working with, advising, and mentoring the students, and the students loved working with Carol. Carol gave her all to the many positions she held at Bay Path, which undoubtedly paved the way for the college to achieve university status."
