Progress continues at Residences on Madison! Follow along on our progress as SMC Management Corp. shares regular drone updates showcasing the construction process.

We’re pleased to share that construction is underway for the Avonlea Affordable Senior Housing community in Loudoun County. This project will deliver 130 affordable apartments for independent adults ages 55+, with all units available to those earning 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or below. The development leverages innovative financing through a twin 4% and 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) deal with Virginia Housing. Led by True Ground Housing Partners, the project team also includes Advanced Project Management, Inc. and Grimm + Parker Architects. Last week, we had the honor of attending the 34th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Gala hosted by ABC Eastern Pa —and we’re excited to share that Ember at Berwyn won the Excellence in Construction award for Residential Projects over $10M. Located on a former retail site in Berwyn, PA, this project has been transformed into a vibrant community with 250 apartments, high-end amenities, and a 396-space parking garage.? ? Ember at Berwyn is constructed, managed and developed by Bozzuto in partnership with ECHO Realty, and designed by The Martin Architectural Group and BCT Design Group.
