This weekend, our L.A. Care Health Plan and Blue Shield Promise Community Resource Center in West L.A. held a free flu and COVID-19 vaccine event where we also provided blood pressure screenings. Our L.A. Care Health Plan and Blue Shield Promise Community Resource Centers are offering free, walk-in flu and COVID-19?vaccine events?at seven of our jointly operated across #LACounty. The events will offer flu vaccines to individuals aged 3 and older, including the formulation for individuals 65 and older. COVID-19 vaccines will be available to individuals aged 12 and older. Additionally, blood sugar and blood pressure readings will be available for individuals aged 18 and older. We received the phenomenal news today that Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan received a 4 out of 5 rating in the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Medicaid Health Plan rating for 2024.?Our rating is based on ensuring our members receive critical preventative care services such as well child visits and breast and cervical cancer screenings.?This is the highest score we’ve received to date and the real winners of this are our members.?I am so proud to be working with a team that is so deeply committed to providing high quality health care worthy of our family and friends. https://lnkd.in/g6xb4AX3
