BITCON ATL was an incredible event! We explored ethical AI, tech in restaurants, government, and cybersecurity careers, wealth-building, and networked with recruiters. Proud to share that 12 attendees were hired, showcasing the Blacks in Technology Foundation’s commitment to creating opportunities for black technologists. Was super excited to attend this Product Management event, had too much fun! Had no idea what doing a case study in a Product situation looked like before coming, and left experienced and confident in my ability to do the same in the workplace. (Can you find me in the pictures?)
We had a great time at the "Thinking Like a PM" panel in collaboration with the Black Product Managers Network and Netflix! Thank you to the amazing panelists Simi Ibikunle James Oyedele and Terry S. for sharing their experiences and advice as PMs. Shout out to BIT NYC board members, Kennedy Alexis, MUP for moderating the discussion, and Nelson Jenkins for bringing it all together.
