Look at how our neighbor, New Jersey, is supporting life science companies and helping them stay and grow. On March 12, 2025, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) approved $5.24 million in tax credits through the Emerge Program to assist SUN PHARMA in relocating its U.S. headquarters to Princeton. This strategic investment underscores New Jersey’s dedication to fostering growth in the life sciences sector and creating an environment where companies can thrive. It’s a great example of how proactive state incentives can drive innovation and economic development in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

??Biotech Milestone: Third Arc Bio Doses First Patient in ARC101 Trial Spring House,PA- Based Third Arc Bio has officially entered the clinic. The company just announced that the first patient has been dosed in its Phase 1 trial of ARC101, a T cell engager targeting Claudin 6 (CLDN6) for patients with advanced solid tumors. This first-in-human study will evaluate dosing, safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy—a critical step for ARC101, which is designed to achieve high specificity for CLDN6, potentially offering a superior therapeutic index compared to other approaches. "ARC101 is the first program from our growing pipeline to reach the clinic – signifying Third Arc Bio's transition into a clinical stage company," said?Peter Lebowitz, MD, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer of Third Arc Bio. "Given ARC101's remarkable specificity for CLDN6 over other Claudin proteins, we believe ARC101 has the potential to achieve a superior therapeutic index in the clinic. As we advance the ARC101 clinical program, we are also rapidly progressing our next programs towards the clinic with the execution of critical IND-enabling studies." With this milestone, Third Arc Bio transitions into a clinical-stage biotech while continuing to advance additional pipeline programs built on its Synergy Platform for solid tumors and Tethering Platform for immunology & inflammation. The company plans to present preclinical data on ARC101 at the upcoming 2025 AACR Annual Meeting. Press release: https://lnkd.in/eERrBzCh
