Cellares and Philadelphia-based Cabaletta Bio have successfully completed the Technology Adoption Program (TAP), demonstrating the power of Cellares’ IDMO Smart Factory and Cell Shuttle? platform to automate, scale, and reduce costs in manufacturing rese-cel (CABA-201)—Cabaletta’s lead CAR-T therapy for autoimmune diseases. The two companies signed an agreement in November 2024 to evaluate automated manufacturing for CABA-201, Cabaletta’s CD19-CAR T Cell Therapy on Cellares’ Cell Shuttle Platform. On March 12, 2025, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) approved $5.24 million in tax credits through the Emerge Program to assist SUN PHARMA in relocating its U.S. headquarters to Princeton. This strategic investment underscores New Jersey’s dedication to fostering growth in the life sciences sector and creating an environment where companies can thrive.
